1. Always check the water level in the kettle when the kettle is on, so that the water level  does not go above the line indicator .
2. When the kettle is turned on, it should be observed that it is dry and in a steady location because it is water resistant rather than waterproof.
3. The kettle plug is stored in the off state while the kettle is not in use.
4. It’s a great idea to use a reminder when using the kettle to prevent accidents.

Why is there a certain water level in electric kettles?

Yes, you can use top water in a kettle. But that also depends on a number of factors.

•  If the tap water is soft,you can boil it in a kettle and drink it; if it is hard, you should not boil.
  Hard water includes a lot of hard metals, which may build up in the bottom of the kettle and cause damage to the heating element and thermal mechanism.
• Before boiling hard water in a kettle, make sure the water has been thoroughly filtered; otherwise, boiling it will cause problems.
• When you heat tap water in a kettle, it normally turns bitter. This is because tap water may include chlorine and other chemicals, therefore it should not be drunk when boiled.
• If you boil tap water in a plastic kettle, it will taste different than  a stainless steel kettle.

Then, turn off the switch, unplug the kettle, open the cover, and store the hot water in a container outdoors. To ensure the kettle’s longevity, it should be thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis.

Should you empty the kettle after every use?

• Well, the kettle must be totally emptied after each usage. The water in the kettle can accumulate limescale, which is very hard water. Furthermore, the remaining water in the kettle can grow bacteria, deadly parasites, or hazardous viruses, causing difficulties later on.

• If you clean the kettle every day, the kettle does not accumulate limescale, its performance remains good, energy consumption is minimized, and the warming process is faster.
